The Glenbard South Boosters play a vital role in enriching the student experience at Glenbard South High School by supporting a wide array of activities through fundraising, membership, and community involvement. We are committed to fostering a strong sense of community and providing essential resources to help our students thrive across the Five A's: Academics, Arts, Activities/Clubs, Athletics, and Aesthetics/Admin.
Our efforts are driven by membership fees, donations, concessions, Raider Wear sales, and various fundraising events held throughout the year. These contributions allow us to invest in programs that enhance the school's extracurricular activities and ensure that students have access to high-quality opportunities both in and out of the classroom.
By becoming a member, sponsoring, or volunteering your time, you can help us encourage and support these vital programs. Your involvement is essential to the success of our students and the ongoing growth of the Glenbard South community.

Glenbard South Boosters raises funds and plans events to enrich the student experience at Glenbard South High School. Membership fees paid by families, teachers, administrators, and the community support a wide variety of programs at Glenbard South including our Five A’s: Academics, Arts, Activities/Clubs, Athletics, and Aesthetics/Admin.
We need over 30 committee members and hundreds of volunteers to manage and participate in the numerous Boosters events and initiatives taking place throughout the year.
Our goal is to have over 500 Boosters members in the 2024-25 school year!
ABOUT GLENBARD SOUTH BOOSTERS
Last year, over $55,000 was raised and donated to Glenbard South student programs thanks to the involvement and generosity of Glenbard South families and community members.
In addition to raising funds and supporting GBS student programs, Boosters helps foster school and community spirit through volunteerism and participation in school events and programs.
2023-2024 Booster Highlights:
Fundraising: Donated over $55,000 for student programs
Volunteerism: Donated over 11,000 collective hours
Scholarships: Funded 6 scholarships, totaling $6,500, for graduating GBS seniors
Concessions: Staffed and managed concessions for 100+ games, tournaments, and competitions
Raider Wear: Sold over $13,750 in Raider Wear merchandise
Floral Symphony: Hosted this annual community event to raise over $9,400 for the Glenbard South music department
Community: Hosted a community-wide plant sale, mum-sale, honored past volunteers (Weinstein Awards), hosted Valentine’s for Vets and Gratitude Day, supported Raider Showdown and Pack the Place, and provided support for Vision & Hearing Screening
Teacher/Staff Appreciation: Hosted an appreciation breakfast in the winter and an end of the year luncheon for GBS teachers and administration/staff
Senior Celebration: Hosted a farewell fest for Seniors on the final day of school
